Dental Clinic Manager

Positions Available: 1 Full Time
Hours: Monday – Friday; 8am – 5pm
Location: Cook and Tower, MN

We are currently seeking a full time Dental Clinic Manager for our dental clinics in Cook and Tower, MN. This opportunity may also be extended to our Floodwood, MN clinic depending on experience and qualifications. The Dental Clinic Manager is responsible for the oversight of daily functions and supervision of our dental clinics and staff. This position will implement a positive team environment through employee engagement and management of best business practices. Duties will include oversight of reception as well as functions related to accounts receivable, billing, and release of information. The Dental Clinic Manager will serve as the overall, go-to person for Dentists, Dental Therapists, Hygienists and Assistants.

Clinic Manager Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage employees at clinic locations
  • Develop and implement work flow processes and procedures for improvement of productivity
  • Attend required meetings such as but not limited to Compliance, Quality Improvement, and Manager meetings
  • Ensure facilities are well kept and general maintenance is completed or coordinated
  • Perform backup reception duties by answering phones, scheduling and registering patients, and placing reminder calls
  • Compile patient charts with required information for each appointment
  • Provide high quality customer support to all patients and visitors
  • Perform financial duties including bank deposits, recording deposits, and reporting total deposits at month end process
  • Inform patients and provide necessary paperwork for financial assistance programs such as SAGE and SFS, and enter applications into data practice management system
  • Participate in the recruitment process and interviews for the hiring new employees
  • Follow guidelines for the disciplinary actions of employees and be involved in the termination process when appropriate
