RN Nurse Manager

We are seeking a full time RN Nurse Manager to join our team at our medical clinic in Bigfork, MN. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the oversight of daily functions and supervision of the nursing department. This position is also responsible for implementing a positive team environment through employee engagement and improvement of clinical practices. The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm.

Nurse Manager Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with providers and nursing staff to provide efficient and professional patient care and clinical procedure
  • Supervise and engage nursing staff including LPNs and RN Care Coordinators by providing guidance and support
  • Coordinate and determine optimal allocation of nursing staff on monthly schedule
  • Provide professional development of nursing staff and reception through trainings, meetings, employee reviews, and clinical workflows
  • Develop policies and procedures as appropriate and work with senior administration on strategic planning of department goals
  • Participate in the assessment, evaluation, and planning of patient care
  • Serve as patient advocate, assessing care, and ensuring that quality care is given
  • Develop and implement work flow processes and procedures for improvement of productivity


Nurse Manager Requirements:

  • Three Years experience in a clinical or hospitalist setting
  • Experience working with chronic disease patients or related case management experience
  • Excellent Communication & Relationship building Skills
  • EMR or EHR experience
  • Registered Nursing degree with an active MN license
  • Five or more years working in a clinical setting with a Patient Centered Medical Home model
