Aaron Heaslet, PA is a certified Physician Assistant who graduated from Indiana State University in 2016. Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, he loves working in a place that is similar to home. Aaron has a passion for family medicine and building relationships over time with his patients. When he is not working, Aaron enjoys all outdoor activities during any season.

ALLISON WEDDLE, NP
Allison Weddle, NP was born and raised in southeastern Nebraska. She worked as a Registered Nurse for five years before completing her Master’s Degree in Nursing. She worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Nebraska for 6 years, and after many vacations in Minnesota, finally decided to make the move and join the Scenic Rivers staff in 2018. She, her husband, four children and four dogs love to explore the outdoors and to fish. Allison provides medical care to patients of all ages.
ANN SCHUSTER, LDH
Ann is a licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Minnesota with several years of experience in general dentistry as well as in periodontics. She is a native of northern Minnesota and enjoys spending time with her husband of 35 years and her daughter, son-in-law, son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. Outside of the office Ann enjoys swimming, kayaking, camping, cross country skiing, reading and crafting. Ann sees patients of all ages.

BARRET WOLFSON, MD
Dr. Barret Wolfson is a 2014 graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School. During her third year of medical school, she was in Bigfork for 9 months as an RPAP (Rural Physician Associate Program) student and has returned to Bigfork to practice. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the La Crosse-Mayo Family Medicine Residency. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Barret was born in Rochester, MN, where her family still lives. She enjoys spending time outside and with her husband and two young sons. She provides medical care to patients of all ages.
Brittany White, APRN, DNP
Brittany White graduated from the College of Saint Scholastica in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing. She worked in long-term care, where she became certified in gerontology. Although Brittany enjoys working with the elderly, she eventually went into primary care to provide continuity of care to individuals and their families throughout their life spans. After gaining experience in the nursing field, she decided she wanted to help patients further through an advanced role in nursing. Brittany went on to get her Masters of Science Degree in nursing. She graduated from a Family Nurse Practitioner program through Minnesota State University and became certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2017. After graduating, she worked in family medicine at the Bois Forte Medical Clinic in Nett Lake, MN. Brittany decided to continue her education to achieve a lifelong goal of a receiving a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, which she received in July of 2019 through Minnesota State University Mankato. Brittany has roots in the area, as her family lives in various towns across the Iron Range. She and her family live on a farm in Cook, where they enjoy outdoor activities such as hunting. When Brittany isn’t providing patient care, you can find her in a boat fishing or in a deer stand hunting. She also enjoys fitness and sports. Brittany has been with Scenic Rivers since February of 2019 and sees patients of all ages.
Catherine Porter, PA-C
Catherine Porter is a 2017 graduate of Chatham University’s Master of Physician Assistant Studies in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Catherine grew up camping, hiking and skiing in Billings, Montana. After high school she attended the University of Colorado where she completed her undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science in 2007. After graduating she relocated to Auckland, New Zealand where she found her passion in medicine and completed a Certificate of Medical Sciences at Auckland University. In her free time, Catherine enjoys running, skiing, yoga, hiking, cooking, and spending time outdoors with her adorable corgi, Kenneth, and her husband Richard.
CELIN WILLIAMS, LICSW
Celin Williams grew up in Ely, MN. She obtained her undergraduate degree in social work from Bemidji State University in 2009 and her graduate degree in social work from the University of North Dakota in 2010. She began her career working as a nursing home social worker in Minneapolis before moving home to work as a therapist for Range Mental Health in Ely and Virginia. She started with Scenic Rivers in 2018, practicing in the Cook and Bigfork Medical clinics. With her history in gerontology, she especially enjoys working with our elders. Celin spends her time cross country skiing, snowboarding, quilting, swimming, watching Netflix, eating sushi, and spending time with family. She is a volunteer coach with Ely’s MYSL program teaching cross country skiing to children. Celin is available to address all mental health concerns with children ages six and older and adults of all ages.
Charlene Colwell, MSW, LICSW
Charlene is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker licensed through the Minnesota Board of Social Work. She obtained a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of St. Thomas/St. Catherine University in 2012, and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from North Central University in 2009. She grew up on the Iron Range and has enjoyed working as a therapist in the Iron Range area for the past 8 years and in the mental health field for the past 12 years.
Charlene provides treatment to adults of all ages, and uses a variety of evidence based therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of each individual including: Internal Family Systems, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Memory Reconsolidation, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness practices, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)- for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and more. She has skills, experience, and training in providing therapy for people struggling with a wide range of difficulties including but not limited to the following: panic attacks, obsessive compulsive symptoms, unwanted intrusive thoughts, health anxiety, generalized anxiety, phobias, posttraumatic stress disorder, depression, grief, co-occurring mental health and addiction issues, life transitions and adjustments, trauma from a wide range of experiences, feelings of shame, self injurious behaviors, and more. Outside of the office, Charlene likes to stay involved in her community, spend time reading, learning new things, singing, writing, and spending quality time with her husband.
CHARLES TIETZ, MD
Charles Tietz, MD joined Scenic Rivers after years of practice in Virginia, MN. He received his undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College, and attended medical school at the University of Chicago. After an internship at the Hennepin County Medical Center, he went on to train at the University of Minnesota’s Residency in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health. Dr. Tietz brings with him a wealth of knowledge in women’s health, and he practices in gynecology and minimally invasive surgeries in Cook and Tower. When he is not at work, he and his wife Vicki enjoy biking and gardening at their home.
CHELSEA MANN, MD
Dr. Chelsea Mann is a 2014 graduate of the University of South Dakota Medical School and completed her residency at the La Crosse-Mayo Family Medicine Residency. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. In her free time she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her husband, David, and two children, Ezra and Esther. She provides medical care to patients of all ages.
Cynthia Sandberg, APRN, FNP
Cindy Sandberg, APRN, FNP and her husband moved to the Vermilion area after spending many years vacationing up here. Cindy comes with a wide variety of experiences as a Family and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, having worked as the medical provider on a large inpatient mental health unit and chemical dependency treatment program, as well as a chronic pain clinic.
Cindy graduated from the College of St. Benedict with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1978, earned her Master’s degree in Nursing (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) at the University of St. Catherine in 1998, then post-Masters Family Nurse Practitioner at Mankato State University in 2001 once her six children were all in school.
Cindy is excited about living and working in this pristine natural area, to enjoy real winters, and beautiful summers. In her spare time, she enjoys walking miles, gardening, fishing, spinning on her spinning wheel, knitting and spending time with their grandchildren.
Danielle Keister, LDH
Dani grew up in Orr. She is a graduate from Hibbing Community College where she became a Licensed Dental Assistant and continued her education at Lake Superior College, where she became a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2016. Outside of the office, Dani enjoys being in the outdoors whenever possible, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and spending time with family and friends.
DON GREGERSON, LDH
Don is a 2006 graduate from Lake Superior College and is a Licensed Dental Hygienist. He was born and raised in his hometown of Bigfork, MN. You may also see Don’s wife of 25 years, Angie, at reception Scenic Rivers Medical Clinic also in Bigfork. In Don’s free time he truly enjoys the outdoors. He and Angie both love hunting and fishing every opportunity they can. You will always see him with a smile on his face and an appreciation for the community he works and lives in.

DUANE SUSHOREBA, DDS
Dr. Sushoreba is a 1979 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He has been employed by Scenic Rivers Health Services since 1985. He provides general dental services to patients of all ages.

Edwin Anderson, MD
Dr. Anderson is a 1995 graduate of the University Of Minnesota School Of Medicine and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Appleton Family Health Clinic, University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice and previously worked in Grand Rapids, MN before being employed by Scenic Rivers Health Services in 2007. Dr. Anderson teaches medical students through the University of Minnesota Duluth School of Medicine and is an Adjunct Clinical Professor with the University Of Minnesota Rural Physician Associate Program (RPAP). Dr. Anderson is currently the Chief of Staff at Bigfork Valley Hospital, Medical Director of the Marcell and Balsam clinics and Medical Director of the Big Falls First Responders. He provides medical care to patients of all ages.
EHAB REZK, DDS
Dr. Ehab Rezk is a 2001 graduate from the Cairo School of Dentistry in Cairo, Egypt and has been employed by Scenic Rivers since October 2015. Initially, he practiced as an associate general practitioner in a multi-specialty private practice in Cairo, but then went on to travel to the US and many European countries learning of different approaches to dentistry in addition to recent advancements in the field of restorative cosmetic dentistry. In 2008, he continued to expand his career as a managing dentist for private practices in New Zealand. Dr. Rezk comes from a family of compassionate dentists. Both parents, as well as two siblings are professors in the Cairo School of Dentistry. Dr. Rezk provides general dental services to patients of all ages in Cook.

EMILY HADRAVA, CNP
Emily Hadrava, CNP obtained her undergrad in nursing from the University of North Dakota in 2005, and went on to get her Masters of Science Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from St. Scholastica in 2009. After graduating, she worked at Essentia Health in Virginia, MN, specializing in family practice for all ages, while also focusing on women’s and children’s healthcare. She is a life-long resident of the Iron Range and has deep roots in the culture of the area. She and her husband, along with three children, enjoy all that the northland has to offer, especially time spent on Lake Vermilion. Emily has been with Scenic Rivers since February of 2016 and sees patients of all ages.
ERIC ELLEBY, MD
Dr. Eric Elleby is a 2014 graduate of the University of Illinois School of Medicine and completed his residency in Family Medicine at La Crosse-Mayo Family Medicine Residency. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Elleby was born and raised in southern Minnesota on a small dairy farm, and is an avid Minnesota sports fan, fisherman, and enjoys telling jokes. He is very close with his parents Chris and Mary, younger brother Jordan, and grandma Nancy. He provides medical care to patients of all ages at Scenic Rivers Health Services – Cook Medical Clinic.
Eric Scrivner, MD
Eric Scrivner, MD, FAWM, was born and raised in Bigfork, MN. After graduating from Bigfork High School, he attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, graduating with a B.A. In Biology. He followed this with two years of full-time volunteer work with AmeriCorps in Douglasville, GA before returning to MN for medical school at the University of Minnesota. After obtaining his doctorate, he moved to Klamath Falls, OR to complete his training at Oregon Health Sciences University’s Cascades East Family Medicine Residency. During residency, he also completed a Fellowship through the Academy of Wilderness Medicine. He is excited to be back in the beautiful north woods practicing full-spectrum rural family medicine.
James Marzella, DDS
Dr. James Marzella lives with his wife Ashlea and three young children in Ely, Minnesota after recently relocating from Edina, Minnesota. He is also the father of three grown children, a son and daughter living in the metro area and one daughter living in Middleton, Wisconsin.
In addition to spending time with family, Dr Marzella enjoys, hiking, biking, boating and working and living in beautiful northern Minnesota.

Jeff Dahlquist, PA-C
Jeff Dahlquist is a 2016 graduate of the Bethel University Physician Assistant Program in St. Paul, Minnesota. Jeff grew up in the Twin Cities but has enjoyed frequent trips to cabins in Itasca County for most of his life. He enjoys football, fishing, hiking, exploring, traveling and outdoor life. Jeff sees patients at the Scenic Rivers Bigfork and Big Falls Medical Clinics, as well as the Bigfork Valley Clinic in Balsam Township, MN.

Jeffery Scrivner, MD
Dr. Scrivner is a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice and is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, the American Medical Association and the Minnesota Medical Association. Dr. Scrivner came to Bigfork in 1981. He is a full time family practice physician and Chief Medical Officer for Scenic Rivers Health Services, as well as Medical Director for Bigfork Valley’s Long Term Care Facility. Dr. Scrivner has played an integral role in the growth and development of the medical community in Bigfork. His dedication and commitment to quality patient care is evident to all that work under his leadership. He also serves as Director of Quality Improvement and Director of several projects currently underway at Scenic Rivers Health Services including their Patient Centered Medical Home project. Dr. Scrivner has always been an avid runner and outdoorsman and away from his busy medical practice, enjoys his time with family and friends. Jeffrey Olds, MSW, LICSW
Jeff is a native Minnesotan and a veteran of the United States Navy. He graduated with his Master’s of Social Work in 2003 from the University of Minnesota Duluth and earned his clinical license, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), in 2006. He works with people of all ages, specializing in work with children, families, veterans, and couples. Jeff enjoys working with diverse cultural backgrounds and histories. He has experience, training and skills in working with veteran’s issues, trauma, substance abuse and addiction, children’s emotional and/or behavioral issues, bereavement, grief and loss, family relational issues, couples counseling, adjustment to life changes and stress, Serious and Persistent Mental Illnesses (SPMI), Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorders and Personality Disorders, and crisis intervention. In addition, Jeff works in coordination with other mental health providers such as doctors, case managers, medication providers and related mental health support services. Outside his work, Jeffrey is an active community member with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and Bridges Kinship Mentoring. Jeff’s hobbies include spending time with his 2 daughters, running, music, playing guitar, reading, and being out in nature. He also likes walking on local trails with Mya, his Labrador retriever, and hanging-out with his cats, Eddie and Minnie.

KALEY VOLTZ, ADT
Kaley grew up in Rushford, Minnesota and graduated from Rushford-Peterson High School in 2007. She obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2014 from Metropolitan State University. She continued her studies at Metropolitan State University and graduated in 2016 with a Master’s in Advanced Dental Therapy. Kaley has developed a passion for enhancing the oral health and developing a friendly relationship with the surrounding community. Her role as a mid-level dental provider allows her to provide preventative and restorative dentistry to those who may not have access to dental care. Outside of the dental clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, enjoying lake time, scuba diving, and exploring the area.

Kari Drake, PA-C
Kari Drake, PA-C is a 2010 graduate of Des Moines University. She is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the American and Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants. Kari has been a lifelong resident of the Iron Range and came to Scenic Rivers Health Services in 2010. She is currently certified as a DOT Medical Examiner. Kari has an outstanding reputation with her patients and colleagues as she holds a special medical interest in family and preventative care. Kari provides medical care to patients of all ages.

Lucy Corrin, DDS, MPH
Dr. Corrin grew up in International Falls, MN. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in 2011, earned her MPH from the University of North Dakota in 2014, and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2018. She approaches dentistry with a positive and energetic attitude and enjoys getting to know her patients. When she’s not practicing dentistry, she enjoys cooking, reading, and being active outdoors with her husband and dog. She is excited to be living close to family and friends and provide quality dental care in Bigfork.

Matthew Holmes, MD
Matthew Holmes, MD, grew up in Angora, MN and graduated from Virginia High School in 2004. He moved down to Duluth for his undergraduate degree at the College of St Scholastica as well as medical school at the University of Minnesota Duluth where he graduated in 2011. He completed his residency again in Duluth at the Duluth Family Medicine Center. He thoroughly enjoys northern MN which is why he tried to stay close to home for all of his education and training. He spends most of his free time outdoors hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling with his wife Kimberly who originally hails from Tower, MN. When he’s not outdoors, he can usually be found in his garage tinkering with his snowmobiles, ATV’s, or pretty much anything else with a motor.
MICHAEL TALBERG, DDS
Dr. Talberg grew up in Plymouth, MN and graduated from Wayzata High School in 2001. He finished a business degree at UMD in 2005 and after several years of working odd jobs decided to pursue dentistry. After a few years at North Hennepin Community College, he was accepted into the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and graduated in 2017. Dr. Talberg really likes the people part of being a dentist, getting to know patients and helping them however possible. He decided to work at SRHS to help fill the need for dental professionals in the rural areas of our state. Outside of the dental clinic, he enjoys spending time with his two children, golfing, shooting pool, listening to the radio and relaxing. He has really enjoyed living in Cook since moving in July 2017 and hopes to stay for many years.

Morgan Ofstad, LDH
Morgan is a 2018 graduate from Lake Superior College and is a Licensed Dental Hygienist. She has worked with Scenic Rivers since November of 2018, primarily working at the Tower Dental Office. Morgan grew up in Britt MN, where she currently resides. Outside of the office she enjoys being outdoors enjoying everything it has to offer, from boating on Lake Vermillion to snowshoeing around Sand Lake. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Morgan enjoys working in Tower with the positive environment and friendly patients and staff. Morgan provides dental services to patients of all ages.

NICHOLAS VIDOR, MD
Nicholas Vidor, MD, grew up in International Falls and graduated from Falls High School in 2000. He attended Rainy River Community College graduating with an Associate of Arts Degree and later attended the University of Minnesota Duluth. After earning undergraduate degrees at UMD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Cell Biology, he attended UMD for a Masters in Chemistry. He readily finished his graduate degree in 2007 and attended UMD Medical School graduating in 2011. He completed his medical training in Duluth at the Duluth Family Medicine Clinic. He started working in medicine as an EMT on the Falls Ambulance Service when attending RRCC. He enjoys living in Northern Minnesota fishing, hunting, and enjoying the outdoors. He is excited to bring quality healthcare to rural Northern Minnesota with interests in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He loves being out on Lake Vermillion chasing the elusive walleye.
Rachel Beldo, APRN, CNP
Rachel Beldo, APRN, CNP grew up in Eveleth, MN. She obtained her nursing degree from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth in 2007, and her DNP from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in 2013. She worked at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for 10 years, four of which were in Family Medicine. She recently relocated to northern Minnesota, and is looking forward to spending time fishing on Lake Vermilion, hiking with her dog Lena, and being closer to her family. She provides medical care to patients of all ages.
Shannon Pitt, FNP-C
Shannon Pitt has a love for health and wellness. She began her healthcare career as a patient. She was born with a cleft lip which required many hospital stays and surgeries, and those who provided excellence in care left an imprint on her childhood and ultimately her career goals. After high school, she attended Gustavus Adolphus College for her foundation courses, met the love of her life and took a hiatus to obtain her LPN and move to the wilderness of Alberta Canada as her husband pursued graduate school. Upon their return she finished her Bachelor’s Degree at St. Olaf College. She has practiced as a nurse since 2007 and graduated with her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of North Dakota in May 2019. Her passion is rural health. She adores the outdoor activities northern Minnesota affords, hunting, fishing, snowshoeing and riding horses as often as possible. She has two small children, Otis and Presley, husband Justin, 2 dogs, Riley and Louie, 3 horses, Sugarfoot, Ginger and Thunder, and a menagerie of honey bees and, on occasion, chickens. She is excited to serve the Northome community and practice excellence in care, support vibrant living and support each individual’s definition of wellness.
Stephanie Lantry, APRN, CNP
Stephanie Lantry, APRN, CNP grew up in Shakopee Minnesota and graduated form Shakopee Senior High School in 2006. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in 2010 from Luther College. She worked as a Registered Nurse for eight years in a variety of rural and urban settings. In 2018 she graduated with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from The College of St. Scholastica. Stephanie is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. As a family nurse practitioner, Stephanie is looking forward to providing comprehensive primary care services for pediatric to geriatric patients in rural Minnesota. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, and spending time outside with her husband and two daughters.

Terani grew up in Duluth and graduated from Proctor High School in 2006. Teresa Bushnell, DT
Teresa comes from sunny Tucson, Arizona. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in 1997 in math education. She was a high school math teacher for a number of years until she decided to pursue a career in dentistry. An oral surgeon recommended the dental therapy profession to her, and she moved her family to beautiful and snowy Minnesota. She successfully completed her education and training to become an Advanced Dental therapist. She has been licensed since 2013 and has practiced in the public health sector. Residing in northern Minnesota since 2014, her family has grown to love it here. With four children and hosting exchange students, spare time is a rare luxury! She enjoys being with family, attending school and sporting events, playing the piano, and volunteering at church.
Tim Sprouls, DDS
Dr. Tim Sprouls grew up in western Nebraska. He obtained a BS in Biology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1986 and completed a general practice residency at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis in 1987. Dr. Sprouls first came to Cook in 1989 and has spent the bulk of his career working in community health centers in St. Paul and Cook, Minnesota.
VALERIE FLANK, LDH
Valerie Flank grew up in Cook, MN. She worked for Scenic Rivers as a Dental Assistant while earning her Dental Hygienist license from Lake Superior College in 1996, and has been employed as a hygienist for Scenic Rivers since 2003. She currently resides in Bear River and loves spending time with her husband and children. When she’s not at work, she loves to decorate and work on her garden. Val provides dental services to patients of all ages.
